  • 一直期待郑州地标建筑JW万豪开业,第一次入住真是超凡体验。服务非常细致体贴,前台员工亲自送到电梯,耐心介绍酒店设施,服务感觉非常专业,不愧是五星酒店。在房间就可以把郑州夜景尽收眼底。西餐厅牛排也非常好吃,不错的体验。办理了万豪会员,一定还会再来。

  • What an amazing experience at the JW Marriott, Zhengzhou I had on my recent trip. The hotel is at the upper floors of a most beautiful building overlooking a park, lake and conference center. This property features a atrium, lovely lounge, the Zhengzhou Kitchen and a fantastic steakhouse - the Grill. Management and staff were so helpful and a chef from the Ritz Carlton! Great experience - thanks to all.

  • the JW is very new, well run, very good hardware,excellent, friendly and motivated staff, the lobby lounge in the 38th floor is very unique and special.
    Modern style, clean and top of the arc facilities...
    highly recommendable...
    breakfast is very nice and wide selection.... nice table setting in the breakfast room.

  • Visiting for the Mayors Forum at the exhibition centre next door, we stayed in this new hotel. I am told its only been open 3-4 months, but it is without fault! Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are exquisit, the food is amazing, the views breathtaking. I felt very lucky to stay

  • This is brand new opening high end hotel in Zhengzhou area located in exhibition centre. The hotel occupies the 38th total the 55th floor of the building with amazing lake view inside new city area.
    All facilities are new and great design. Staffs are polite and train well. the food was great, there is a wide selection at the buffet with nice table setting which I believe it will be enough for you to enjoy. the executive lounge is well equipped with a high variety of drinks and food....even alcohol after happy hour ...very generous style and attitude and let their VIP guest feel preferred..

  • This is a new hotel and best hotel in Zhengzhou so far. I stayed there for three nights at the executive room - room amenities are great. I like the shampoo and conditioner. Also my room has a great view of the city, it's amazing after sunset. The service is like anywhere else in China, the staff did have a good attitude but were not really well trained. The only thing I dont like about this property was food, not too much variety in ADD or executive lounge.
    Tips: when I stayed there, the swimming pool did not open yet. So better check with the hotel if you are expecting to swim.

  • The hotel opened only 2 months when i stay in here. Located in new district , the hotel beside high speed train station,so it's very convenient ,only by subway 15 mins.
    Hotel building very prominent, especially in night, must be recommended.
    When I arrived at hotel, front desk give me one room upgrade, very clearly to meet my local traffic problem.After entered room, room facilities simple but luxury,keep Marriott standard.I really like the bathroom amenity for the “AA”.
    Stay 2 nights, not use restaurant. I will recommend the hotel building, hotel room, staff professional service to the travelers.

  • Stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel looked impressive and smelled new (3 months old). All the hardware was there, but the software still needed a lot of work.

    Let's start with the good.
    -Food at both Man Ho and the Grill was delicious.
    -The Food and Beverage Director Mr. Le Boucher and the Front Desk Manager Antonio were a credit to the hotel. They were courteous, professional and not the least defensive.
    -Well equipped gym.
    -Free wifi.
    -New and luxurious facilities.
    -Genuine and friendly service at the Lounge.

    Moving on to areas for improvement:
    -Breakfast was the usual complete spread however the dim sum station needed to be kept warm and refilled.

    -Housekeeping needs to work a lot harder. Upon checking in, I found an old cigarette on the floor by the bed, dust and hair under the sink, and cable cuttings on the floor by the bed. I called Operator and Housekeeping was quickly dispatched.

    -The hotel needs to work on its SOP. Instead of coming directly, the Duty Manager called me back after I complained about the dirty room. He offered me free laundry throughout the stay for which I had no need so I asked for a free massage. He called back saying he could offer me access to the Lounge instead. When I asked if my 9 year old would be allowed at the Lounge, he replied no. I then politely refused Lounge access and said don't worry about it. In the end he insisted that I took the Lounge access. It was 9pm after a traveling day so I said allright and good night. At around 10.15 he called back to say that kids are allowed in the Lounge.

    -Language is a big problem, especially since Marriott utilizes 1 stop call At Your Service. There is only 1 button to press whether you are looking for Housekeeping, Spa, Room Service or Concierge. These operators need to be more on the ball.

    After coming back from Shaolin at midnight, I ordered congee and pancake for breakfast the next morning. I repeated at least 3x to make sure the operator understood what I was ordering. I got a call back at 1am (!!!!) telling me that the orange butter was unavailable. Even more, what materialized the next morning was bagel and pancake. The pancake was cold and wrinkled since it wasn't delivered in a hotbox.

    I attempted to order macaroni and cheese the next day. And the guy kept asking if I wanted margherita pizza. I ordered burger (cooked medium) for room service and was informed it would take 45 minutes. 20 minutes after the call, room service called back saying that the chef suggested the burger be cooked well done. The same thing happened when I ordered spaghetti bolognese regular size (not child size). 15 minutes after I called, the operator called back to ask whether I wanted regular size or kid size.

    Overall we had an enjoyable stay and I sincerely hope JW Marriott works out the kinks in the coming months.

  • The hotel is fairly new and located in a newly laid out district of Zhengzhou, next to the Convention Centre and theatre. A tall tower with views from all rooms. Lobby is on the 38th floor and the rooms go up to the the top.

    Rooms are of a very good quality, but slightly small for a 5*. The restaurant is very good, with a wide selection of Chinese food, but also a buffet section where Western food is available.

    Good spa and other amenities. High levels of service throughout.

  • The experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff made us feel welcome on arrival and my room was amazing. It didn't hurt that I was upgraded due to my Marriott status, but even so everything about the property made me want to return should I be find myself in Zhengzhou once again.

    Although there were a few minor glitches, to be expected with any new building, they were remedied in record time and did nothing to detract from my enjoyment of Zhengzhou.

    Special thanks to Manager Eric Ding for taking such good care of my colleague and me.
