Cibo ottimo e personale estremamente gentile.—— Olivia F.
Zhengzhou Hilton hotel is new hotel in Zhengzhou city. It is very clear and comfortable to stay. Hotel staff can provide more service when you need. If there are more kinds of breakfast, it would be much better. When I have chance to make business to Zhengzhou, I would like to stay at this hotel.—— xiaopingw616
nice hotel with a decent service. hotel room is quite comfortable apart from door close noise is a little big, room service some times leave a note remind temperature or more bottles of water due the dry weather here. Only the food there is so so—— 561xinz
This is new high standard hotel provided in Zhengzhou China. This brand new open hotel bring the quality of Hilton brand into the area where the future growing international business guests are looking for.—— JY1688
We stayed at the Hilton Zhengzhou for one night on our way to the Shaolin Monastery. It was a great choice.
*The rooms are spacious and clean... it's a brand new hotel.
*The bathrooms are big and the showers are a good size with nice textured stone so you won't slip. Plus the rain shower has a descent water pressure.
*The breakfast was good considering we were in a random city in China. Although they could still improve in this area... if they truly want to be up to western standards. There was only one person making eggs with only one frying pan, but at least he knew how to make a good omelet. The flavours of the pastries need to be better... but having said all that, this was the best meal we had all weekend during our Shaolin visit.
This is probably the nicest Hilton we have stayed at (Including 2 in NYC, Portland OR and Toronto Canada). Plus, you can't beat the price! If you are visiting the Shaolin Monastery, this is a great choice!—— GSJ71
Okay guys. I stayed here for about 10 days in the past month. Initial impression was quite nice, until you really stay there for awhile and realize t he bad things this hotel has to offer. Lets start with the good things, decent gym, clean pool and room size is okay. As a gold, member am always upgraded to the executive floor. Lounge food is quite good for a new hotel in 2nd tier city in China, and lounge managers are friendly. Location is good in that it is a 2 minute walk from the Subway, bad in that the street in the front is always trafficky.
Now the bad, the first week I was staying there , I found bugs in my salad, yup , well 1 bug to be exact, a black one on the leafy greens. Shown in pictures. This was when they were doing the Hawaii week. Another thing is the breakfast here is quite weak for a Hilton, the choice is limited and change is minimal, a 1 or 2 day stay is fine but if you are here for over a week, it could be annoying eating the same thing everyday for breakfast. Another thing is they dont lead you in and seat you, something that should always be done in such a hotel.
Now the other thing I hated was the leaky windows, it was raining in Zhengzhou, yeah yeah yeah but that is NO EXCUSE FOR MY WINDOW TO BE LEAKING. Pictures attached.
Now the WORST, when I forgot my room card at and came back at 11 PM. The receptionist Anna Liu told me to go wait in the seats while they took care of the guy infront. So I wait and two drunk guys behind me and go to her and she services them and forgets about me. When she finally helps me out with my room card, I told her I was going to file a complaint, and guess what she tells me, yup she told me "GO AHEAD!" . Wow
Unreal. Not even saying as a G member at Hilton, but just a regular person should be not be treated that why. Why would you service the ones who cut in line, because they are drunk???? I have told this to the manager and he has done nothing about it.—— 46yifeid
I stayed for one night whilst visiting ZhengZhou. The check-in was quick and painless and the room was nice. The executive lounge was always very empty (which is a good thing!!) and had great views, great food and attentive service. Breakfast was one of the better that I have had in Hilton so overall great experience.—— MrClinton
I was pleasantly surprised with this Hilton. It was modern and the rooms were quite nice. The bathroom was a sufficient size and had a ceiling rainfall shower as well as a handheld shower head. There was a large window in the bathroom that looked into the room which made the room look larger. The bed was really comfortable. The lighting could've been a bit more bright for my tastes. I like bright rooms. Breakfast was a good mix of Chinese and Western. Location is on a very busy street. A Starbucks is close by as is Walmart which is a couple of blocks away. The one problem was the noise. Not a fault of the Hilton, there are obviously no regulations on when construction should start or cease. My room faced the back side which was mostly residential. I could hear a lot of construction/generator noise starting at 3:30 AM and didn't cease until midnight. Perhaps the rooms facing the busy street would be less noisy? Not sure. Wifi is sporadic unless you're awake at 3:30 (jet lag) but by 4:30 it slows down drastically.—— dahlia8
Needing a break from the backwoods of Henan Provence, I booked two nights at the new Hilton in Zhengzhou. The hotel itself is great. It sparkled in the lobbies and in the rooms. The service itself was a bit spotty. Upon checking in at 9PM, we found that the hotel had no record of our reservation. I gave them a copy of the reservation email, and still it took the front desk nearly 20 minutes to get us checked in. The service at the "Hawaiian" restaurant was also slow. We ordered some items at around 9:30PM, and it seemed that the staff was unprepared to serve dinner at such a late hour. This was surprising given that Chinese people enjoy eating out late. In the rooms (we had 2 rooms), the hot water was surprisingly lukewarm. Even a call to the front desk could not solve the problem. I ended up taking the electric hot water kettle, and using it to make the bathtub water hotter. FInally, the wifi in the room was very slow, often timing out while attempting to connect. These issues are all solvable, which needs to be done if the hotel is to meet Hilton standards.
Overall, the staff was friendly and the Chinese restaurant upstairs was very good. But it's the little things that prevent me from giving this hotel a top rating. Some notes about Zhengzhou: the traffic is horrendous, and the city has very little to brag about. Even though it's about the size of New York City, Zhengzhou is just a city. And not a very interesting one at that.—— jimboc
