We loved it! Fabulous little hotel with quaint cozy rooms. We can't wait to go again.—— kanek
I had an very enjoyable stay at this hotel. I was there for 5 days and really appreciated the fact that I could walk though an attractive neighborhood to get to stores, shops and restaurants.
The owners and staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful with directions, things to see and places to go. My room was very clean and comfortable. I don't spend a lot of time hanging around my room when I travel and it was great to be near major attractions without feeling like you are in a crowded area of town. LA is hectic enough without having your hotel stuck in the middle of the bustle. This hotel is in a nice residential area only 10 minutes from the Getty museum and 5 minutes to Rt 405. Malibu is only a 25 minute drive away. If you travel a lot you'll appreciate this place.—— GaryDelaware
My mum and I stayed at the Brentwood Inn from Sept 10th - 14th. We had a wonderful experience made more special due to the helpfulness and the warmth of the staff. This place is a rarity as it offers continental breakfast, parking and wi-fi all included in your price. Evan greeted us each morning and nothing was too much trouble. He supplied us with information on places to eat, to visit and was more than happy to print directions and help plan our trip.
The location is fantastic. I was originally drawn to this property as other reviews stated is was a safe neighborhood and this is very true, my mother and I felt very safe walking around Brentwood in the evening as there are a lovely selection of restaurants. The location to Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and The Grove are all easily within reach if you have a car.
If you are looking to stay somewhere that offers a more personal experience rather than being just a number in a large hotel chain then Brentwood is the answer.....we would have no hesitation to recommend this Inn and will definitely be back!—— BecWilliams
My niece and I stayed here from August 15th to August 20th mainly because it was half a block away from my sister's house. The room and bathroom were small but clean and tasteful. The small courtyard was perfect for breakfast. It was also an excellent place to have tea and cookies with my sister and niece. (The hotel has cookies from 4PM on in addition to a continental breakfast in the morning.) Mostly, though, it was a pleasure to find such helpful staff. They seemed to anticipate your every need and went above and beyond to get you information on the bus schedule to LAX or to print out your boarding pass. Highly recommended!—— Doreen46
I had a really nice stay. The grounds are charming and well maintained. My room and the lobby were modern and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, printing directions, etc. The location is also great. I always felt completely safe. Fyi, it took me an hour to get from the hotel to the 405 on a weekday at 4:00pm, so allow extra time during rush hour. I'm planning to return in a few months.—— cookieladyNewman_CA
After spending ages searching for somewhere to stay in LA (with parking), I finally came across the Brentwood Inn and chose it because of the good reviews it had. I wasn't disappointed. We received such a warm welcome when we arrived and all the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and told us places to visit etc. They have different types of teas and cookies in the reception that you can help yourself to in the afternoon and evening, and the breakfast (included in the price) was very nice - fruit, cereals, yoghurt and pastries etc, and you can sit in the little courtyard and eat it.
One of the big benefits was the free parking and you can park right outside your room. The rooms have been very nicely renovated and are very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
It's located in Brentwood which is a nice suburb. You really need a car if you're staying here. It's well located for driving out to the coast, eg Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach etc, and also for driving into Hollywood, Beverly Hills and downtown.
We really loved this hotel and would stay there again if we go back to LA.—— JaneK66
I have been staying at this little property weekly ever since I discovered it in June of 2005. Recommended by a business associate, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else, now. The property is under $200/per night, consistently clean, rooms are charming, the owners work there almost every night and are the nicest young couple you could ever meet. This is a property that says "we really care about your experience " in every way. High Speed internet both cable and wireless (they even provide the cable if needed), refrigerator and coffee maker in every room. Fully tiled cozy bathroom with great shower - instantly hot and good water pressure. Vaulted ceiling and a remote controlled air conditioning unit with amazingly creative features for guest comfort even after you're in bed. Great little continental breakfast with a water featured guest patio for morning and evening relaxation with cookies, hot tea or coffee and fruit in the evenings. Best experience for frequent travelers I have ever found and I have traveled all my life. Just try it once and you'll be hooked. Thanks to the caring and friendly owner/managers; keep up the wonderful experience you have created there!—— Joltin_Joe
